A Little History

"Whisper Not" is a beautiful, gentle swing tune by Benny Golson with an oddly enigmatic title. "Sounds like the perfect name for my group" I said to myself enigmatically. It would seem that a few others share the same interest in using this poetic title; namely, a Norwegian jazz orchestra, a Japanese music website, Keith Jarrett's live trio recording in Paris, and so on.
